Next 11 Academy: Building the Future of Soccer on Indy’s Westside

Next 11 is about more than soccer,It’s about giving kids, especially Black and Brown kids from overlooked neighborhoods, a chance to compete, to grow, and to believe in themselves.

From humble beginnings with just a handful of players and borrowed field space, Next 11 Academy quickly earned recognition not just for its talent on the pitch, but for its purpose. Every training session, every match, and every team meeting is rooted in the academy’s mission of creating opportunity through sport, mentorship, and community.

Backed by the generous support of Lauren and Jrue Holiday and embraced by families across Wayne Township and beyond, the academy’s impact is growing fast. With new teams, expanded training programs, and a long-term lease on the future Wayne Sports Park facility, the foundation is set for something lasting.

This is a story of a dream born from lived experience of what it means to turn obstacles into openings, and to create a pathway for the next generation to rise.
