Next 11 Academy is excited to open tryout registration for the 2026-27 soccer season. As a proud member of Indiana Soccer and US Club Soccer, we provide a competitive, player-focused environment designed to help athletes develop their skills, grow in confidence, and reach their potential.
Our teams compete across Indiana, following a structured and challenging schedule that includes league play, tournaments, and competitive . We focus on creating a positive environment where players are coached with care and challenged to get better every day.
Join a Growing Soccer Community
Next 11 Academy was founded in 2023 with just three teams and a simple goal: to change the landscape of youth soccer in our community and beyond. In just two short years, we have grown to nine teams, including the launch of our first-ever girls program. After this yearβs tryouts, we expect even more expansion, especially on the girls side.
Our players and teams have already made their mark, winning multiple tournament championships, earning ISL league titles, and competing at a high level across every age group. This rapid growth reflects our deeper mission β to build a club that offers more opportunity, better development, and a new standard for youth soccer in Indiana and across the country.
We are also proud to announce that construction has begun on Phase 1 of our new facility. Starting next season, our players will train on two brand new fields, further supporting our vision for the future.
Next 11 Academy is just getting started, and we are excited to welcome new players and families who want to be part of something bigger.
At tryouts, players will go through a complete evaluation designed to assess multiple areas of their game. Players should come prepared with water, a soccer ball, shin guards under their socks, and athletic gear.
Players will be divided into age groups and go through a series of drills and exercises. We will evaluate technical skills such as passing, shooting, and dribbling, as well as physical abilities with speed and agility drills. In addition to drills, players will also compete in full and small-sided games, giving them a chance to showcase all aspects of their game, from technical skill to decision-making and teamwork.
This is not a one-dimensional tryout where players only scrimmage. We believe in a full evaluation to truly understand each playerβs strengths, potential, and areas for development.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT TRYOUTS
Tryouts will take place over two days. After the second tryout date, players will be notified whether they have been offered a spot on a team for the upcoming season.
To secure a roster spot, families must officially accept the offer, purchase the team uniform and practice pack, and submit the season deposit. A playerβs spot is not guaranteed until these steps are completed. Failure to complete registration requirements could result in the spot being offered to another player.
Following tryouts and registration, there will be a break from team activities through the summer. Training will resume in August for teams to prepare for the fall season.

US Youth Soccer is preparing for upcoming changes to player age group structures beginning with the 2026-27 season. These updates are expected to move teams back toward a birth-year based system across youth soccer.
At Next 11 Academy, we have already been preparing for these changes and evaluating multiple roster and team structure scenarios to help ensure a smooth transition for players and families.
Our priorities remain:
Supporting long-term player development
Keeping teams together when possible
Creating age-appropriate and competitive environments
Maintaining strong team culture and continuity
For the upcoming tryouts, players should register based on their projected birth-year age group for the 2026-27 season. However, placements may still vary based on individual development, roster balance, competitive level, and long-term fit within the club.
As always, our goal is to place every player in the environment that best supports their growth and confidence both on and off the field.
Families with questions about the updated structure or where their player may fit are encouraged to contact a coach or club director prior to tryouts.

Player development is not just about their technical skills, but also about their mentality and character. It's about shaping players into well-rounded individuals both on and off the field. Talent alone is not enough; it takes the right attitude, discipline, and continuous improvement that truly make a difference.
Club Philosophy
At NEXT 11 Academy, we emphasize games and activities that encourage extensive ball interaction, laying a strong foundation in technical skills and fundamentals.
Our approach places the individual player's development at the forefront, valuing their growth over team success. We're dedicated to nurturing players' technical, tactical, psychological, and physical abilities, paving the way for both individual and team achievements. We strive to cultivate creativity and innovation in our players, fostering these qualities both individually and as part of a team.
From Vision to Reality: The Growth of Next 11 Academy
