Rolling Player Evaluations Throughout the Season
26/27 Tryout Registration Form
How the Evaluation Process Works
Travel soccer is a more competitive environment with regular team training, league games, and tournament play throughout the season. Players are expected to make a strong commitment to their team, training, and development.
During a rolling evaluation, players will be placed into a training session with an existing Next 11 Academy team whenever possible. This allows our coaches to evaluate players alongside potential teammates and see how they fit within the speed, level, and style of the group.
If our coaching staff believes there is a good fit and an available roster spot, your family will receive an official offer to join the team.
Once an offer is accepted, families will be required to make the initial club payment and purchase the required uniform kit before the player can be officially added to the roster.
Register → Attend an Evaluation → Receive an Offer → Complete Registration → Join the Team
Missed our regular tryouts or looking for a new opportunity during the season? Next 11 Academy conducts rolling tryouts throughout the year to fill available roster spots.
Players interested in joining the club should complete the registration form below. Once submitted, your player will be added to our evaluation list and you will be notified of the next available opportunity to attend an evaluation.
We plan to host 1–2 evaluation days each month throughout the season, depending on roster needs and player availability. These sessions give our coaching staff an opportunity to evaluate players in a training environment and determine the best fit within the club.
Roster openings vary by age group and team, so completing the form does not guarantee placement. Players who are a potential fit will be invited to the next appropriate evaluation session.
Complete the form today to get started. We’ll contact you with your next opportunity to be evaluated.

Join a Growing Soccer Community
Next 11 Academy was founded in 2023 with just three teams and a simple goal to change the landscape of youth soccer in our community and beyond. In just two short years, we have grown to nine teams, including the launch of our first-ever girls program. After this year’s tryouts, we expect even more expansion, especially on the girls side.
Our players and teams have already made their mark, winning multiple tournament championships, earning ISL league titles, and competing at a high level across every age group. This rapid growth reflects our deeper mission — to build a club that offers more opportunity, better development, and a new standard for youth soccer in Indiana and across the country.
We are also proud to announce that construction has begun on Phase 1 of our new facility. Starting next season, our players will train on two brand new fields, further supporting our vision for the future.
Next 11 Academy is just getting started, and we are excited to welcome new players and families who want to be part of something bigger.
What to Expect at Next 11 Academy
Next 11 Academy is a competitive travel soccer program focused on player development, strong coaching, and creating meaningful opportunities for players to grow on and off the field.
Travel soccer requires a greater commitment than recreational soccer. Players should expect regular training, league matches, tournaments, and travel throughout the season. We ask families to be committed, communicate well, and support the team environment.
We also understand that travel soccer can be expensive. Next 11 Academy works hard to keep costs as reasonable as possible and offers generous financial assistance, scholarships, and multi-child family discounts to help make the program accessible.
Our goal is simple: If a player wants to play, we will find a way.
We believe talented and dedicated players should have access to quality soccer opportunities regardless of their family’s financial situation.
Rolling Tryouts
Many clubs close their rosters after traditional tryouts and do not offer players another opportunity to join until the next season. At Next 11 Academy, we believe access should work differently.
We conduct rolling tryouts throughout the season so players who missed tryouts, moved to the area, are looking for a new environment, or are simply ready for a new opportunity still have a chance to be evaluated.
-
Beginning with the 2026–27 season, youth soccer age groups will move to a school-year based structure using an August 1 cutoff.
This means players will generally be grouped with others who fall within the same school-year window rather than strictly by calendar birth year.
For example:
A player born August 15, 2014 and a player born March 10, 2015 may be in the same age group.
A player born July 20, 2014 would fall into the older age group because they were born before the August 1 cutoff.
The goal is to better align teams with school grades and graduating classes.
At Next 11 Academy, we will use the new age structure while continuing to prioritize keeping established teams together whenever possible for player development and team continuity.

Soccer should be accessible to all families, which is why we offer a premium product at an affordable price.
NEXT 11 Academy understands the financial challenges families may face. That's why we actively seek donations, grants, and organize fundraisers to offset fees and make travel soccer more accessible.
Club registration fees include but are not limited to training sessions, tournaments, league registration, coach pay, administrative expenses, coaching education, liability insurance, and player and family outreach.
Player development is not just about their technical skills, but also about their mentality and character. It's about shaping players into well-rounded individuals both on and off the field. Talent alone is not enough; it takes the right attitude, discipline, and continuous improvement that truly make a difference.
Club Philosophy
At NEXT 11 Academy, we emphasize games and activities that encourage extensive ball interaction, laying a strong foundation in technical skills and fundamentals.
Our approach places the individual player's development at the forefront, valuing their growth over team success. We're dedicated to nurturing players' technical, tactical, psychological, and physical abilities, paving the way for both individual and team achievements. We strive to cultivate creativity and innovation in our players, fostering these qualities both individually and as part of a team.
From Vision to Reality: The Growth of Next 11 Academy
What started as a simple idea to create more opportunity for young soccer players has quickly grown into one of the most exciting new clubs in Indiana, thanks to the leadership of our Founder and Executive Director, Tamba Samba.
With a strong soccer background and a passion for developing players, Tamba founded Next 11 Academy to change the landscape of youth soccer on the Westside of Indianapolis. In just a short time, he has led the club to major achievements, including tournament championships, league titles, and a steady rise in competitive success across all age groups.
Beyond the wins, Tamba’s leadership has driven incredible growth, improvement, and a strong sense of community within the club. His commitment to player development, high standards, and long-term vision continues to push Next 11 Academy forward.
Today, Next 11 is more than just a soccer club. It is a place where players grow, families connect, and a new standard for youth soccer is being built — all guided by the vision and passion of Tamba Samba.
